Winter Maintenance: Keep Your E-Moto Alive in the Wet
Store the battery indoors between 40–80% charge. Cold storage below 0°C permanently costs you capacity, and charging a frozen pack can damage cells.
After wet rides, dry the connectors and apply dielectric grease. The main discharge connector is the number one winter failure point riders report to us.
Re-grease the headset and swingarm bearings before the wet season rather than after. Water gets in gradually, and you usually won't notice until a bearing fails.
Finally: wash with low pressure. A jet wash aimed at the motor shaft seal will find its way in eventually.
